The Juneteenth Celebration offers FREE admission to the public.

● Tickets and day passes will be available at the Information Booth to purchase for the children's Inflatable games and train rides.

● There will be food and merchandise available to purchase so be prepared to support our local businesses.

LOCATION

We are back in Menifee, CA at MSJC Campus! We will be located at the South end of the parking lot, near the front of the Main Entrance to the campus.

FROM  San Diego

I-15 North to I-215 North to Newport Rd in the City of Menifee:

Exit Newport, at the traffic signal at the top of the off-ramp, and turns right onto Newport.

Stay in the far right lane and turn right at the first light Antelope. Take Antelope rd. south to the

 

2nd traffic light (La Piedra Rd) and the campus will be off to the left.

 

FROM Los Angeles

I-405, 22 East freeway to the 57 East freeway to the 91 East freeway

to the I-215 South to Newport Rd in the City of Menifee:

 

Exit Newport, at the traffic signal at the top of the off-ramp turn, left onto Newport.

Stay in the far right lane and turn right at the second light, Antelope Rd. Take Antelope Rd. South to the 2nd traffic light (La Piedra Rd) and the campus will be off to the left.

Please note: while visiting the MSJC Campus we ask that you remain on walking paths and not walk through planting beds. Always park in marked spaces. Never park on grass, turf areas, sidewalks, or areas where there is no clear indication of marked parking. Violators are subject to ticketing and towing!

 

START TIME

 

Juneteenth Celebration hours are 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

 

Don’t try to be fashionably late, or you won’t get the best spot! Each year our crowd grows

bigger and arrives earlier to claim a spot near the stage.

NOTE: Gates will open at 10:00 AM sharp!

WHERE CAN I PARK?

● Option #1 – ADA Parking

● Option #2 – Parking Lot A 

● Option #3 – Parking Lot B 

● Option #4 – Parking Lot C 

 

Where should I avoid parking?

 

● DO NOT PARK in front of any no parking/tow signs. In past years a few people had their

cars towed.

● DO NOT PARK where you see reserved parking/ADA parking only signs.

 

This year there will be (2) entrances to the parking lot.

● Entrance A off of Antelope Rd

● Entrance B off of La Piedra Rd

Live R&B, Smooth Jazz, Reggae & Gospel performances throughout the day.

VENDORS -Will there be vendors?

 

YES! The Juneteenth Celebration will feature food, merchandise, and a beer & wine garden area, so please bring cash to purchase great products from our vendors. If you are interested in being a vendor (click here).

 

Can I sell my goods at the festival, and/or distribute materials about my company,

organization, church, or event?

 

Only authorized vendors are permitted to sell merchandise/goods and/or distribute materials at

the festival. All other commercial activity will be shut down, and unauthorized vendors/sellers

will be escorted from the festival grounds.
 

 

MERCHANDISE VENDOR LOAD IN

 

There will be "load in" lanes set up on the West end adjacent to parking lot C. The lanes will be

monitored by a Juneteenth Committee Member and you will have a limited amount of time to

unload your setup and merch, then kindly remove and park your vehicle in the appropriate

 

vendor parking space.

 

ENTERTAINMENT LOAD IN

 

There will be "load in" lanes set up on the East end of parking lot C. The lanes will be monitored

by a Juneteenth Committee Member and you will have a limited amount of time to unload your

equipment, then kindly remove and park your vehicle in the appropriate parking space.

We suggest that you drop your "crew" and your "gear" off and send (1) representative to park at

the designated vendor parking location that’s clearly identified on the diagram provided within

 

your welcome package.

TENTS - Can we bring and erect tents?

 

Due to extreme heat conditions, YES, there will be a designated area for small portable tents.  You can bring your lawn chairs with a small umbrella attached to help block the sun.

 

GRILLS - Can I bring my own grill to the MSJC campus?  Short answer, NO.

 

GENERATORS - Can I bring a Generator?

 

We will NOT allow Generators into the event. Please do not bring generators, security will turn

you away!

 

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES - Can I bring alcoholic beverages to the MSJC Campus?

This is no laughing matter! Riverside Sheriff Department (RSD) and the City of Menifee Police

Department is very serious about the “open container law”. Please do not have open

containers/open alcoholic beverages in your car. While on the MSJC campus.

PETS - Can we bring pets?

The answer is NO!

 

Specific ordinance: All pets, including dogs, cats, snakes, birds, pigs, etc., are prohibited on the

MSJC campus – leash or no leash – during all festivals with a class A, class B or class C festival

permit, unless part of a planned festival program or assisting persons with disabilities. (Please

refer to the festival classification schedule below.) This is for the pet’s protection as well as for

the protection of festival patrons.

 

KEEPING THE MSJC COLLEGE CAMPUS BEAUTIFUL

 

Where are the trash cans?

 

There are plenty of trash cans throughout the event. We will have additional 30-yard dumpsters

 

for you to toss your trash. Please clean up after yourself.

 

What can I put in the trash?

 

You can toss pretty much everything in the dumpster, except for the following:

 

● No Hot coals

● No Burning cigarette butts

● No Sterno burner containers

● No Lighters

● No Matches

● No Lighter fluid

 

Basically, don’t toss anything that is used to build flames.

 

Clean up your mess!

 

Leave the campus more beautiful, than when you found it!

 

Please do your part to be a good steward of this great community and take care of our college

campus.

 

Pick up your trash!! Don’t leave your items behind. There will be several 30-yard refuse

dumpsters available for dumping your trash
